The Fulham Study runs three Mock examinations, throughout the year. Each are used to gauge not only a child’s performance under pressure, but to help parents and tutors garner a clear understanding of their child’s strengths and weaknesses. They show precisely which topics require attention in preparation for their next exam and ultimately their entrance exams.
7+, 8+, 9+, 10+ 11+ and 13+ mocks
The morning is divided into three sections, with a short break between each task: The overall length of the mocks depend upon which exam your child is sitting. For example, the 10+ and 11+ are longer than the 7+, 8+ and 9+.
Task A: Reading comprehension and story writing
Task B: Mathematics
Task C: Verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning.
After the papers have been marked, they will be distributed to the appropriate tutor who will then address the problems and areas of concern. Your child’s tutor will inform you of your child’s results and any feedback of strengths and weaknesses.
Children not currently being tutored by The Fulham Study are welcome to apply for a mock exam place, after completion parents will receive a report detailing their strengths and weaknesses. This will allow you or your child’s tutor to focus learning and revision.
